Observe & Learn: Knowledge is Power!

If you've ever watched Game of Thrones, you can't help but appreciate the eunuch's access to knowledge. It almost doesn't matter where he is or whom he is talking to, he has (or soon after receives) knowledge of the darkest secrets of that individual.

It's downright creepy, yes, but it teaches us one thing: Know as much as you can. You never know when you need to leverage that.

I am not one that seeks out gossip. In fact, I hate it. I hate it when people talk behind my back and - as a result - I refuse to talk behind theirs.

This is different though. You don't necessarily get involved in drama, but you know people who know things.

The eunuch refers to them as his little birdies that hear things. Later we find out (season 6) that these little birdies are in fact kids.

It don't matter who your birdies are, but develop the habit of knowing people who know things. You don't have to know everything, but with the right connections you will have a ton of knowledge and skill you can leverage.

You may not know everything about taxes, but if you have accountants as friends, you can leverage their knowledge by tapping into it. The same goes for anything. Be it golfing, construction, traveling, or even little gritty jobs like house painting, lock picking, ebook cover designing, etc.

Find people in all fields and with all kind of connections. It will greatly enrich your life.

Observe and learn. Knowledge is power!
